About Us

The Home Affairs Department has been actively supporting the development of social enterprises (SEs) by introducing and promoting them from multiple perspectives through different channels, so as to enhance public awareness of SEs and encourage the public to shop at SEs by purchasing their products and services.

Our publicity work includes producing and launching TV Announcements in the Public Interest (APIs), outdoor advertisements, television and radio specials, and organising territory-wide or district-based projects and activities. Also, arrangements are made for SEs to promote their business and sell their products at major and popular trade fairs, such as Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo, and the Food Expo, providing direct access for the public to learn more about SEs and buy their quality products and services.

To further promote SE brands, the Home Affairs Department will introduce new elements, including the launch of an SE mascot and the "SE Tree Mark" Programme for assisting the general public in identifying and supporting SEs in Hong Kong, and the production of an SE TV programme in collaboration with Radio Television Hong Kong.

We regularly share information and promotional offers on SE products on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Want to keep up with the latest SEs news? Scan the QR code or click the link below to “Follow” and “Like” our Facebook and Instagram pages.

"SE Tree Mark" Programme

To assist the general public in identifying and supporting SEs in Hong Kong, the Home Affairs Department has launched the "SE Tree Mark" Programme. Members of the public can easily recognise SEs when they see the "SE Tree Mark" logo at these shops, thereby encouraging them to patronise and support SEs.
